Solid Waste Disposal Revenue Notes Series 2025 (Direct Bank Purchase)
The Tri-City Economic Development Corporation (d/b/a Tri-CED Community Recycling) project closed on January 10, 2025. CPCFA issued $8,525,500 in tax-exempt notes and provided a cost of issuance subsidy of $125,388 using CPCFA’s Small Business Assistance Fund (SBAF).
Tri-CED will use the note proceeds to purchase upgraded sorting equipment, including a drum feeder, an old corrugated cardboard screen, optical sorters, and an eddy current separator; SB 1383-compliant bins and containers to be used and distributed throughout Alameda County; fleet management software; and contamination management hardware and software. Tri-CED’s acquisition and upgrades will improve customer and waste collection services, bulk processing, and shipping of recycled materials, and will allow the Tri-CED to continue educational programming designed to reduce waste and raise environmental awareness.
